CASA’s Relief Materials for Earthquake Victims of Sikkim

CASA believes in dignity of life and therefore ensures  an acceptable  minimum  standard and quality in carrying out its relief operations among the victims of disaster.  Hence, CASA  will be  distributing 1000 sets of Relief Materials i.e 800 sets in East and North Sikkim and 200 sets in affected areas of West Bengal  ensuring the quality and dignity of the victims. The details of the Relief materials to be distributed are  given below:

Each set will consist of the following items:

• 5 Polyester Fleece blankets
• 1  Silpaulin Tarpaulins (150 GSM 22’ by 16’) will also be provided to the affected families.
• 1 Pressure Cooker (5 litre capacity)

• A set of Aluminium and Stainless Steel utensils (14 pieces )
• 1 Aluminium cooking pot with lid,
• 5 Stainless steel plates,
• 5 Stainless steel  glasses
• 2 Stainless steel serving spoon

• 1 food grade Bucket with cover

• Hygiene kit :

• 1 Savlon antiseptic liquid bottle,
• 1 medium sized Cotton Roll,
• Washing Powder,
• 1 Toothpaste,
• 5 Toothbrushes,
• 1 pack Sanitary Napkin,
• 2 Towels, 4 Bathing Soaps,
• 1 plastic Soap Dish,
• 1 Sewing kit,
• 1 Mirror,
• 10 sachets of  Shampoo
• 2 Combs

The relief materials are on the way an will be reaching here in a few days time for distribution.
