CASA has designed a comprehensive ERP (Enterprises Resource Planning) Management System including the finances with the help of a Professional Agency – ASCOMP. The ERP System in CASA has reached a significant stage today with its very first National Level Training Programme at its Headquarters in New Delhi for the selected Finance & Accounts staff members from various Zonal and sector offices all over India.

Inaugurating this one week’s training programme, CASA’s Director, Dr. Sushant Agrawal emphasised upon the importance of ERP System to improve upon CASA’s Financial Management System and remain relevant to the changing times.  He further said, “ERP in CASA is the need of the hour, as it will help us to have a more transparent accounting system and also to meet the time bound and strict reporting requirements of various overseas Resource agencies.”

Dr. Agrawal further said that ERP - his Dream Project- will electronically connect the accounts of all Zonal and  Sectoral offices in the country , and make CASA’s accounting procedure more efficient and effective        in the days to come.  Finance department staff members have already started using ERP tools on a ‘dry run’ basis. CASA shall go online with Financial Management ERP system w.e.f. 1st April 2009. The Head of Finance, Mr. Kosala is spearheading the ERP process in CASA.
