Dr. G. Devadanam Passes Away  
“We are deeply saddened to receive the news that our respected Dr. G. Devadanam passed away on the afternoon of 10th August 2009.Dr. G. Devadanam from the Samavesam of Telugu Baptist Churches (STBC) was closely associated with the work of CASA and also served on its National Board from 2002 to 2007. CASA was privileged by Dr. Devadanam’s association, and benefited greatly from his knowledge and experience.

CASA CONDUCTS TRAINING OF TRAINERS (TOT) ON SEARCH AND RESCUE.
 
 
CASA recently conducted Training of Trainers (ToT) on Search and Rescue for the youth (both boys and girls) in Himachal and Uttranchal. These Trainees will conduct further trainings in high altitude Himalayan regions and deep interior areas in the mountains including the glacial region. Negotiations have been initiated with ITBP and Police forces for joint training initiatives in the above region.
